David Walker: the Lion, himself, is a class act, truly. A very gracious person, and we were privileged to sit with him for this interview. Many thanks to David @ Firestone Walker, as well as Derek Walker @ 10 EAST for the great event!

Firestone Walker had a stellar showing with an amazing taplist. The Scotsman and Drew try a couple of very special barrel-aged beers, and in a special treat for the listeners they interview David Walker, the Lion himself. The co-founder of the 4-time mid-size brewery of the year award-winner from the GABF is a truly gracious and personable guy, and they had a great time with him for over a half hour!

David Walker is truly one of the luminaries in California Craft Beer, and the guys are truly appreciative of Derek Walker at 10 EAST for the opportunity to interview him. You don’t want to miss this show, listeners!

Podcast: Interview with Patrick Chinn from The Market @ La Comisaria

In this very special edition of the Ale Evangelist Show, the guys are pleased to have Patrick Chinn from The Market at La Comisaria. In this show, they chat with Patrick about how he got started with craft beer, and how he ended up in Linden offering up an insane selection of craft beer.

Even More Jesus is an incredible imperial stout. One of Drew's favorites, and for good reason.

They also ask him how he migrated to Modesto and asked him some of what it’s like to run a market like The Market. Patrick was a truly gracious guest, and if you’ve not made it in there to chat with Patrick and get some amazing craft beer, you need to do so. Patrick is a fantastic human being, and is providing some incredible craft beers for purchase at The Market.

The Brown Note is a really tasty brown ale, despite the can design. Just drink with your eyes closed and pretend you never saw the skidmarks.

Cheers to Patrick for what the Scotsman and Drew hope is a semi-regular guest appearance on the Ale Evangelist Show.

Patrick brought two great beers with him to try on the show. Even More Jesus from Evil Twin Brewing and the Brown Note from Against The Grain Brewing, which they talked about on the show last week make for a great evening on the Ale Evangelist Show.
