This brilliantly colored sour was absolutely fantastic.
On this return extravaganza, the Scotsman and Drew try a FANTASTIC sour from High Water Brewing Company, they talk about what all has been going on (Drew lost a car, Scotsman had a Sleep(less) Study), and they talk more about the changing landscape with big beer eating the world. A beer calendar and a ton of listener feedback make this one of the best Ale Evangelist Shows yet! You don’t want to miss it!
Nice show and no I did not completely disappear. Maybe on parallel hiatuses (like my homebrewing) LOL.
The more you guys rave about Highwater Brewing, the more I really think you should try and get to Tap Barrel House in Stockton (cue the Stockton jokes here) on the Miracle Mile. It is Highwater’s unofficial/official tap room. 24 taps and at least 10 taps are Highwater’s full time. They also have tap takeovers on the remaining taps for at various times. I got to try FW Luponic Distortion#2 before it was in stores on a tap takeover there.
Lastly, in the Stockton theme, last year was the first year for Stockton Beer Week -actually had some cool events. This year they are upping their Beer Week game to include a BeerFest at the Stockton Arena on Sunday Sept 11. Yah, a Sunday and VIP ticket are available too. Several local breweries will be there – Morgan Territory, Dust Bowl, Channel Brewing, Last Call, Valley Brewing plus the usual suspects.
Hope to also see you guys at the San Joaquin Valley Brewfest in Manteca on Saturday Sept 24. The life size beer pong is not to be missed!
Prost.
Hey Vince, it’s really good to hear from you!
I hear you about the brewing hiatus. Life happens. I think we are planning to be at SJV Brewfest.
